Anybody shoot a Shadow Systems handgun? They started popping up on my youtube feed and have me curious. Was thinking of adding a SIG 320 M18 to the stable but went to a local gun store yesturday and checked one out along the Shadow System DR920 (Glock 17 size) and the Sig didn't do it for me compared to the 920.

The high bore axis on the sig is noticeably slower on splits for me then a comparable Glock or M&P. I know several sig owners that have found the same. Shot timers are hard to fool

I've only shot the full sized Sig once to qualify but liked it so had started looking at the other 320 models...but after picking it up alongside the Shadow Systems I knew that was off the list. That 920dr sits loooooow GD. Notably lighter than my Glocks too. I had been thinking of getting a 17 to round out the family but probably pick up the 920 instead after the holidays.

I’ve seen em popping up more and more. Look forward to getting my hands on one. Right now my favorite shooter is my G45 with a PMM comp, aimpoint ACRO, surefire X300-UB, and a mag well.
Runs flat and is plenty accurate with even my reloads.

Nice. I shoot either my 19x or G45 90% of the time. Just got back from the LGS with the 920DR Elite. Hopefully, get it out tomorrow or Friday and will report back.

It's a definite "me'h" for me GD. My gen 5 glocks are all more pleasant to shoot and just as accurate. If I knew then what I know now it would have been a gen 5 glock 17 with ameriglow sights and call it a day. Buyers remorse fo' sure...

Oh wow! More pleasant to shoot? Is it really snappy or have some uncomfortable spots on the grip?

Has anyone tried the Ruger EC9 ? It looks like a nice little CCW type weapon in a 9mm. Ruger usually makes a good product.

I guess snappy is a word that fits...idk how to describe it now. I find my glocks just a pleasure to shoot...I had shot my CZs a bit better but just enjoyed the glocks more which started my switch. I know the shadow systems have a break-in period too...but not going into battery well over a dozen times got old for me.

Hmm that’s a really tight lock up or something is out of tolerance. That’s never a good feeling

Just got back from the range and shooting my Glock 19 (which I rarely shoot) and yep...liked shooting that more!

The company does stress a 200 round break-in period and it was getting better. Think it was just harder for me to accept since it's not some gucci 1911! laugh
