Nope, not ready for the house painting either, but it’s happening. Well once we get back from the dentists.

Morning Yard!
A couple of those ganza blades look really nice. A little more than I want to spend right now. I need to pick up a utility trailer. The price of steel and wood isn't helping the current prices.

I really want an emerson but I’m having a hard time spending that on a 154cm steel knife. My $80 benchmade is 154cm my $120 Leatherman has a 154cm blade

Mike, Emerson’s are nice. Not fancy or all that Purdy, but let’s you know you got something substantial in your hand. Depending on what you’re looking for (I am making the presumption you want a “regular” blade), I personally like the mini cqc-15 the best. The ‘7 and mini-commander ain’t bad either. But make sure if you go the cqc 7 route (full-size or mini) you get one that says conventional V grind. Otherwise one side of the blade will be as flat as a piece of glass. Imagine the letter V tilted about 45 degrees where the one side is straight up and down! Perfectly flat. Not really all that bad but takes a little getting used to. I also like my mini 7. And yes it is the chisel grind.

I love big 3.5-4in blades so a CQC 8 or seax would be great! The grinds don’t scare me. The 57rc 154cm is on the soft side
