First, within 10 minutes of leaving, I decided to check the Busse Company Store. I saw FFFBMs in Green/Olive come up again, and having buyer's regret for not getting any the last time, I was able to snag two.

The trip from Louisville to Indianapolis ran about $60 (gas, parking, lunch and admission for two), which was less than I thought it might. The first place I went was the Busse booth; they had some good stuff, although I'm sure that there will be much more at Blade. They had a few FBMs, including an LE, a nice custom Natural Outlaw, and a couple other Busse knives. They had a selection of Swamp Rats (including one each of the EH3 military Mini Mojo overruns -- I'd canceled my Knobganza request; I took their presence as a sign that I was meant to have them, so I bought both). They also had a few Scrapyard knives, but of course, not the new Atlanta LE (hey, maybe I'll enter that for the contest if nobody else has registered it).

I brought in one of my Black/Black FFFBMs to have a sheath made for it. I got to show it off since they didn't have one at the Busse booth and we talked for a while. Then, I dropped off the Mistress at a kydex booth. While waiting, I went hunting for a Stag left-hand AR. I found a 15L with A.R.M.S. #40 A2 (Model 2L), which I bought. I also picked up a couple extra 20-rd mags and a cool speed loader, then I picked up my sheath and headed home.

It was fun, and although I bottom-lined at a bit over $2300 on the day, I have some very nice stuff to show for it (and should receive my Company Store order in a few days).

Well, I made it to the 1500 today. I meant to be there when the doors opened, but ran a little behind, so I was an hour late. When you go in, there’s a big sign that says “no cameras allowed” etc. but I used my cell phone camera and snunk a few pics for you guys so you could see what was there. If you were hoping to get a HRLM or S6, sorry, but I bought what was left of them. There’s plenty more other knives left though. <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/smile.gif" alt="" />

If you were thinking of going and need a kydex sheath/holster for something, bring your knife/gun with you. There’s a guy there that’ll make kydex sheaths/holsters while you wait! I FINALLY had a kydex neck sheath made for my Shaker. I had to wait until he was free because there were a few people ahead of me, but when he got to mine, it took less than 30 mins for him to make it. It’s really nice too, he did a good job. He said they come with a lifetime warranty too. It cost $30+ tax for it. I was really hoping to get one for more like $20-$25, but since I knew I could get it today, I splurged and got it. I really like it, and it could also be used as a pocket sheath.

I walked around there for like 5 hours, and my back and feet are killing me. It’s late and I’m really tired, so I’ll take pics later for you guys of my new sheath and the knives I bought.
