Morning Yard!
We have gotten more than 8 inches of snow on the ground and probably closer to a foot since Sunday. Most of it is gone already. The front yard is starting to green up and the back yard is probably 60% clear of snow.
I'm very glad our snow pack is getting a boost. We will have a drought this summer but it will be a little better. Unless we have a really wet spring it's going to be a bad year for crops in the west.

The General started some plants with some older and some newer seeds and they are doing well. Looks like we will have tomatoes and peppers along with some herbs. Once the frost danger is over we will start working in the main garden. I have a row of wire cattle panels bent over to form a tunnel, and on the outside we plant pole beans and we are going to try a climbing tomato on the ends. This makes it easier to pick beans and hopefully tomatoes as they climb up the panels, hanging almost like bunches of grapes. The General makes a great green bean soup, using tomato juice from tomatoes she works down to make a thicker and tastier spaghetti sauce.

That sounds delishous. My peppers were doing great last year until the final weeks we got a crazy heat wave and not 1 plant survived.

We usually have great success with Big Bertha and Gypsy Hybrid peppers, and we grow then in tubs just off our back deck. Easy to water and cover if needed.

Good morning Yard. I thought I might mow today but it looks like it's going to rain. So, back to working on a sheath.

Short break and then back to mowing. A cloud dropped about a dozen raindrops on me, then the sun came out for a while. With the upcoming rains this week I'm really glad to get the mowing done. Later after a shower it's chow time.
