A good day indeed !  Met with the orthopedic surgeon today ; he and the therapists are so pleased with my progress that we scheduled my other knee replacement for November 17 . He normally makes patients wait 6 months before doing a second knee, but I will be at 4 1/2 months. My first replacement is doing extremely well, so I'm actually looking forward to getting the other one done,
