Another beautiful day here, and we just returned from a trip to town. Now it's time for a Subway sandwich.

Nice cool evening 55 degrees, expected low of 42. High tomorrow of 70.

I just came in from outside with the dogs ; a really pleasant 66 degrees. Smoking a cigar, listening to the radio, and looking at the stars. So peaceful compared to so many parts of our country.

Good morning Yard. I'm watching the news and thinking about the folks in Florida and the states in Hurricane Ian's path.

All the folks in the Hurricane(s) path are really getting slammed. “ I really feel for them” just doesn’t seem to express the sorrow I feel for the people having to go through this, many of them again.

I spoke with my daughter who lives in a suburb of Tampa, and they were doing OK. Some wind damage to trees and rain was about it ..... so far. Ian has moved off to the N/E of them already.
