Kobuns are nice. I gifted one to a friend (non knife guy) and he still loves it years later.. I'm pretty sure it lives in his hockey bag and removes old tape regularly lol

Be careful T, BIG knives will be next on the Can Gov “hit list”. Heck, thee was a movement years ago in Europe (France?) to ban knives with points! I mean a promenant chef said knives didn’t need points.

My wife is very wise. She knows the wrath she could incur by buying me an item that I am passionately interested in,such as a knife or a piece of coffee equipment, that turns out not to be as optimal as I had hoped. This forces me to blame myself instead of others. Besides, she knows that I enjoy doing the research.

Got my Skallywag Tactical MDV today. I’m impressed with the heft of this thing. I got a blemished Damascus one for less than half price. Some of the “etching” is a lot sort of faded I guess maybe. But that don’t bother me any. It will be an edc (MAYBE) edging out my Emerson cqc-15 eventually. Hey, miracles happen.
