It's brisk again today. -20 this morning and it's warmed up to -13.

Randy is correct. If the humidity is low and you don't have a bunch of exposed skin it's not too uncomfortable for short periods of time. Unless it's windy.

I just wore a hoodie yesterday but took a coat and gloves in case we needed to be outside for a while.

When it's this cold I worry more about my feet getting cold, next is my hands and ears. If I am active a thermal underwear shirt and a hoodie keeps me warm. A coat just makes me sweat. If I'm not active I put a coat on over that and stay pretty toasty.

Thick wool socks and insulated boots are the key to staying warm standing on ice and snow. Plus aa a general rule a good hat and the colder it gets the stupider the hat looks. wink

Good morning Yard. I got an early start today thanks to the dogs needing to go out, but I plan on at least a couple more hours of sleep before I go for P/T today.

Morning Dogs!

Skunk hopefully your beautiful bride is healing well and your taking care of yourself.

The cold got the best of me and froze the pipes in my laundry room. I was able to blow some warm air into the weird crawlspace under it and get it thawed out after a few hours.

That's a first for that in this house.

Oh man, that stinks MB. But it sounds like it wasn’t to awful to get taken care of.

Patty is doing well. She was up several hours today, ate lunch and supper in the main room and managed to walk 82 feet (with the walker of course) after her physical therapy. She still won’t let me out of the house though after MY fall into the concrete steps and sidewalk. Fortunately I have enough padding that all I got was a very bruised back, this time. She said there will nit be a next time. I can’t come out until the walkway and streets are clear.
