The ground thawed just enough to plant a raspberry bush and blackberry bush . I'm going to wait a couple more days to plant a couple apple trees. It will give me some time to find my sprinkler lines before I dig and cut into them.

I am looking forward to it warming up so I can get outside and do more. I picked up a parks pass for my SxS so I can go a few more places when it warms up. Unfortunately one place has had a record amount of snow covering the trails. We will be lucky to have them clear by the end of July.

Nah, but they work really well with bananas! And you wouldn’t believe how long it takes to throw away 300 empty Fruit Roll-Ups boxes.

Good morning Yard. The contractor and crew are coming to fix our roof today, and the insurance adjuster will be here tomorrow. With late night storms predicted I will really be happy to have the roof repaired.

The roof on the house is done and now they are working on the garage. WOO-HOO !

Glad you’re getting good service Tom. But with your 50,000 sq ft roof they are probably counting how many new trucks they can buy!

I would have liked to see the faces of the crew when they first saw the roof ! They did a fine job in spite of the severe angle.

Good morning Yard. At 3:45 this morning a storm came through and rocked the house with a large BOOM of thunder. The temperature dropped, and the insurance adjuster is coming out. She called earlier and said she would need to get up on the roof, even though I told her how high and steep the pitch is. This should be interesting !
