Over the last week (up until last night), we’ve had 10 inches of rain. Last night we had the longest lasting continuous Thunderstorm, lightening thunder that I have ever experienced. Then it rained, hard. We got about 4 inched here but up north just about 10 miles they got 7. AND, MORE thunderstorms are predicted for today.

We have very few mosquitoes around here which makes sitting on the deck or the porch quite comfortable.

Another day without a knife being sharpened or used, I feel so dirty. Alas my beauty you’re safe for another day. In other words, I didn’t use my pocket knife for anything today so it’s still sharp for next time.
