Seems some flyboys in Germany have a drinking problem that are putting lives at risk so the Airforce is coming down hard on them. A recent article states “in a memo of the new policy, which says that "alcohol consumption outside of your dorm or residence is prohibited". The memo continues but only “between the hours of midnight and 6 a.m.”

Yeah, you gotta watch those drunkin Flyboys.

Good morning Randy and the rest of the Yard. A cool rain moved in early this morning ; glad I got the grass mowed yesterday.

I mowed the lawn for the first time in years on Saturday.

... well, it wasn't the first time the lawn was mower in years... just the first time I've done it. It's one of those jobs the kids have been doing for the past decade. With the two youngest doing marching band (vibraphone and color guard), looks like I'll be back doing this more often in the fall. Somehow they managed to take care of it last year, but the older girl is a senior and busy with college prep.

Oh well, I had a good run. So long as I wear the cages around my knees I can do it. Just one more thing to whine about
