I don't have any fancy sights on my pistols ; if I have to shoot distant targets I will use a scoped rifle.

I’ll tell ya Tom, red dots make a BIG difference. The lenses they put in my eyes from cataract surgery are for distance. For close up I wear cheater glasses. Neither one works really well for arms (sights) distance.

I miss having goid BBQ from a restaurant, food truck or even a storage unit. That's one thing we are sorely missing here. There are a few bbq places but nothing close to your average place in the South. Bill Sharps Bbq in Sedalia Mo was one of the best in the U.S. at least in the 80s.

I have a love hate relationship with red dots. Love them on rifles, some days I love them on pistols especially duty pistols. But I can't bring myself to put it on any of my CCW rigs. I think its an issue of familiarity and reliability/durability. The iron night sights I changed out the other day were well over 25 years old. Aside from them no longer glowing at night they were still functional and rugged. The new ones should be the same.

Randy, sorry to hear your back hurts. Lift those gold bars with your legs not your back. Maybe you should put some thought into buying a small, electric fork lift or at least a pallet jack.

The bars only come in 500 pound ingots. (Try lifting a hundred of those a day) I can’t leg press that much so I hired someone to do it for me. I figured that would be just as good.

Leave it to the Chair Force to figure a way to get out of work.
