Good morning Yard. As predicted, we received a glaze of ice and it's raining/ freezing right now. We were supposed to go to Springfield for an appointment but I think we will stay home instead. We don't enjoy driving on icy roads, and many Missouri drivers don't know how to handle them either.

Supposed to start with ice pellets here in about a half hour, then freezing rain and sleet. Build up 0.12 inches too much.

Oh and ‘mornin Dawgs.

Hi Randy. I'm glad we stayed home today as the news has been filled with pictures of vehicles that slid off the road or crashed into others. Turns out the folks at the Springfield office were a few hours late getting to work as well, and they live in town as opposed to our almost 70 miles away.

So far only thing we’ve got is 39 degrees and melting snow. Supposed to get down to 33 tonight.

We are officially empty nesters. The runt rented an apartment in Town. I've been helping her move and get settled in.

The funny thing us I've seen here more at the house than I have in a few months.

Started to rain/mist about 2 hours ago. Right now it’s 36 and a low of 35 over night. But more rain and a high of 41 tomorrow.

M/B, with the new responsibility of paying rent, utilities, etc. you will probably be seeing a lot more of her when she stops by for dinners.
