Not a bad day here. One our church members finalized the adoption of their daughter today so a whole bunch of us went to the courthouse to support them and celebrate with them.

I fixed lunch, got dinner in the crock pot. Green Chile with pinto beans and chicken. I'm getting ready to go plow again before the snow hits again. It shouldn't be too bad if I can keep up on it.

Thanks Ray. This is the 3rd time in I guess 10 years or so. Plus I have it set up that any charge over 1 dollar sends a notification to my phone. It’s easier to keep track that way. We’ve now got it on both mine and Patty’s cards.

I got up way too early for no good reason. I'm waiting on what seems like round 53 of snow to come in this morning.

In all the boredom with the heavy snow I did learn something that I didn't know. For an inexpensive piece of fire kit some of the metal manual pencil sharpeners are made from magnesium blocks. You can shave off magnesium (burns around 5,000 Deg) shave some wood off of twigs and if you can make a spark you have a fire. And a pointy stick. I found some and sure enough the are stamped magnesium right on the front. A German company KUM made the ones I found.

Howdy guys. Hope ya'll are doing well. We got the goat lot finished and goats are home, but they're so skittish we can't get near them. The guy that raised them said it just takes time.
