Hornady Critical Defense and Critical Duty is some great ammo.

Hornady Critical Defense and Critical Duty is some great ammo. Yup, but man is it pricey! Won’t be practicing with it to much. They make less expensive stuff for that.

Trying to round out my medical supplies.
Bought several more bags of Epsom salt, some ibuprofen, acetaminophen and some triple antibiotic ointment.
I did forget to pick up some anbesol though.

Bought a SOG Tiger Shark Elite ; I like the blade shape, but will remove the hand guard.

I picked up a 100 Watt briefcase Solar Panel, a Goal Zero YetI 300 power bank and a adapter for the solar panel to charge it..
I also picked up a 25 watt GMRS mini transceiver that I can run from a cigarette lighter plug.
Between the three I should be good for power and comms with friends and family.

Sounds like a good setup. I’ve seen great reports on Goal Zero products. A 25 watt radio sucks down battery power a lot faster than a 5 watt one. I hope the radio has selectable output power.

I just never cared for hand guards, though many southern style Bowie have them. But many have nicely shaped blades.

Got a really really good deal on a Vortex Venom RDS . Just couldn’t afford 450 for the other 3 or I would have got all of them.
