Well, my glucose level is now down to 142. I can deal with that, but would like it back down in the 120’s-130 something. If I can get to that, then the hat trick is staying that level, which won’t be easy. Nice work, Randy. But you may have to make the ultimate sacrifice and give up fruit roll ups.

Evening Yard!
A nice lazy Sunday. It's still way Hotter than it should be here.
I decided to Smoke some cheeseburgers, then top them with some smoked pulled pork and caramelized red onion. That stuff is fat kid crack. That's the first time I have smoked cheeseburgers like that. Low and slow. It worked out way better than I had expected.
Other than that I had gotten a good deal on a belt system and set it up for one of my newer duty guns. Simple setup, made to take a beating and retain everything.

Fruit Roll-ups are mankind’s gift from the All Mighty. He would NEVER want us to give up what he has blessed us with. OK, so their man made. I GUESS I can give them up if it means I’ll be able to hang around longer and give you guys a hard time. Sheesh, the sacrifices I make for you guys.

Morning Yard!
My wife and I have been trying to do something fun and different at least once a week this summer.
I go to the range pretty often and she rarely goes. She has never shot at the range I currently use. She went with me today and had a blast. It has to have been at least 4 years since she shot. Probably the last time she shot was when she qualified with her duty pistol before she retired.
She did great and had a lot of fun. We shot a bunch of steel reactive targets and I introduced her to red dots and compensated pistols. Based on her reaction I'm going to have to up my ammo budget. She was cleaning the plate rack from 15 yards without issue.
It was nice to see her having fun and excited about shooting again. I'm hoping she will start CCW'ing again.

MB, you might want to check out Ammo Squared so your ammo outlay isn’t so great all at once. Either that or start hand loading.
