Another nice day here.

The wife and I drove into town. Got myself a nice shiny new haircut and picked up all the supplies I need for my next 3 or 4 projects. I figure that as long as I have the stuff on-hand when the weather cooperates, I can knock out projects as they strike me.

I try to do the same thing M/B. On our last trip to Walmart for pet supplies and other items I also picked up a bulb for my 01 Dodge pickup's headlight, which I installed today.

Afternoon Yard!

One of the bonuses to living in a small town. I took the wife out to see a movie today. We were the only people in the theater for that movie. I have to say it was really nice. I haven't experienced that since I worked mids and would go to see first-run movies during the middle of the week at 9am.

M/B, we live about 4 1/2 miles from a little town of 226 people and NO businesses whatsoever. The last time we went to see a movie was in a town 20 miles away, and there was only three other people in there besides us. There IS a drive-in by another small town of 4500 people we visit once in a while when the weather is right ; there is also a theatre in the same town. I certainly understand loving the small town living.

Yup, small towns may not have much to do but not having to fight in the rat race of larger cities is really nice.

It's a nice theater. I will say it's not a big theater but I think they have 4 screens/theaters and each one might be about 1/4 the size of a big theater. They do a pretty brisk business though. Weekends and nights are busy. As soon as school starts they cut back on the hours as well. At $5 a ticket it's hard to beat.

I couldn’t tell you how many years it’s been since we went to a theater. I’m guessing 4 years, heck maybe 5. Course last time we turned out TV on was at least 3 months ago, maybe longer.

Good morning Yard. Looks like we're heading back to the hot and muggies starting today. Our plants are looking good though, getting tomatoes, peppers, and cucumbers.
