I just ordered a couple of new pocket knives. I lost my much loved 940 Osborne (R.I.P.) So I am picking up a Reverse Tanto Kershaw Iridium and a Spear Point Iridium.
I'm told they are excellent knives, especially for the price point. I would love to have another 940 but at Over $200 bucks to replace it I would be afraid to carry it and donate it to someone else again.
So If I like them I will buy another just in case. Kershaw loves to discontinue good blades.

The last blade I bought was a machete made of 52100 steel, and it arrived SHARP and with a nice point. I have several machetes but this last purchase is definitely my favorite.

Good morning Yard. We are receiving a nice gentle rain right now so I guess today will be spent mostly indoors. Another good day to spend in the cave.

Morning Yard!
Decent weather here. We got a little rain last night. It might make it to 90 today if we don't get any more rain. I need to finish mowing. Otherwise, I just have someone coming over to give me an estimate on replacing some exterior doors on our house. It's the last of 3 estimates so we might be able to pick a company once we can crunch some numbers.

Howdy Ray. The rain stopped earlier and the sun came out, so it's hot and muggy out there now. The A/C sure feels good.

Hi Tom. High of 71° today but don’t think it will get that high. It’s 15:00 hours now (3:00 PM for you Air Force guys) and just hit 70°. That fireplace sure makes it cozy though.

Afternoon yard! I just dropped the wife off at the airport so she can o visit her friend in Florida. I picked up some Ribeye cap steaks so I won't be starving this week. I got one of the folders in yesterday. It has potential as an everyday pocket knife. Unfortunately, it came with one of the worst sharpened blades I have ever had. I tried to fix it and it's going to need some time on a belt grinder to get any real usable edge on it. So I'm going to have to find a place to get an edge on it. I rolled the dice and bought it online so............

Ray, clocks only show 12 hours, so 1500 does not exist. Now 3pm, well that’s easy to see.
