Ya the DM was the first and so far only SYKC product I own, however it is one of my favorite knives. I would like to have got a yard guard as well, but I had other pressing things to deal with.
I feel quite sure the DM could outperform any of my other fixed blade knives at most hard use/outdoor related activities.
When money permitts more SYKC's will be bought.

I was just lucky that unsub posted on a gun forum that we both frequent that these were available. I din't know anything about SYKC however I did like the looks of the DM.

Made another convert. The great thing about the Mutt is it can take the place of much bigger knives because you can baton with it or put a pipe on the end and pry if you are using it as an entry tool. It would be perfect for a pilots survival vest where you can't have anything big but he could be stranded in the wilderness.
