Morning Yard!

Back to more normal temps today. Mid 60's.

Time to get a little vehicle maintenance done and get ready for winter. I need to get some winter wiper blades, winter washer fluid and take a look at the anti-freeze in my truck. It won't be too much longer before I need to change out the air in my tires from summer air, to winter air and, top off the blinker fluid while I'm at it

Good afternoon Ray and the rest of the Yard. I just finished chopping out the roots of a small tree and I am POOPED !

I didn't do a whole lot today.

I did a little vehicle maintenance, ordered some small parts for my truck, cut and replaced some trim, and tightened up a door on a shed we are painting. Installed a wall headboard in our bedroom and cleaned up some limbs in the front of the property.

I had someone come over and give me an estimate on getting the transfer switch for the generator and they are ordering the stuff to get that done.

It almost feels like I'm getting some stuff done. I'll feel a bit better about winter once the transfer switch gets installed and the gen set gets here. I think we are going to have a rougher than normal winter here.

It's great that you're getting prepared now instead of waiting until the weather gets bad. Besides fuel and stabilizers don't forget oil for the generator as well.

I woke up to our first frost today. Hopefully, it wasn't to bad I still have peppers to pick.

Good evening Yard. We had kind of a lazy day today, just picking tomatoes and green beans. Tomorrow is a trip to the VA in Joplin for a blood draw and physical, then check out a few stores.

Thanks Randy, I think it will. I have lost some weight which should make the Doc happy, and my blood pressure is always good.
