The weather here is gorgeous. A tad windy but otherwise fantastic.

I'm almost done buttoning up winter preparations. Still waiting on my gen set. I thought it would be here yesterday but no such luck. Hopefully early next week.

I ran into a bit of luck this morning. I was filling up my gas cans and my old jerry cans gaskets gave up the ghost. I couldn't find any at our local auto parts stores so I made a temp gasket from some rubberized cork and was going to order some online. When I was searching online I found a place that had a really good price and as I was about to order I realized it was from a mil surplus place just a few miles from the house. 20 minutes later I had them in hand. Otherwise, I was going to have to order them from a sketchy place with dubious reviews and wait two weeks for delivery.

Always nice to find things close to home.

My wife somehow clicked on a malicious website on her phone and it's absolutely blowing up with spam and malicious links. I had virus protection on it and she must have kept clicking links until they took over her phone.

I'm hoping a factory reset will cure it. Unfortunately, she doesn't remember her passwords and decided to change her recovery email address to one on the compromised phone.

I am less than amused.
