Good morning Scrap Yard. Looks to be a warm day, so we are going to give our dogs a bath.

Morning Yard!

It looks like it's our last warm weekend for a bit. So one more push to get most of my projects done. Thankfully I don't have a crazy amount of stuff left on my list. I wish they would lift the burn ban so I can get rid of my brush pile. It's getting way bigger than I would like. If it gets much larger I'm going to have to buy a keg and throw a party when I burn it wink

LOL, I put a chuck roast on the smoker. I severely underestimated how long this cook was going to take. I planned on a 6-7 hour cook. I'm at hour 6 and I'm thinking I have 3 or 4 to go.

So we are getting some takeout from a Mom and Pop drive-in that's regionally famous. At least I get a tasty dinner tonight and it'll be ready for lunch after church tomorrow. Plus dinner will already be done.

Haha, Tom! I haven’t had any alcoholic drink since ‘95. Just doesn’t interest me, and I stopped smoking in 2000.

Ray, hearing Lincoln scream is the only guilty pleasure I have. grin Plus that’s why I can afford to put up with you guys. wink And I’m actually working on revamping a couple Bobby (that’s a Bob lite to you Northerners), bags for Patty and I.

I’ve pretty well got my folders figured out. One will be my ZT 0909 or my GTI FOLDER, maybe both. Still working
on my Fixed blades but one for sure I THINK is gonna be my Scrapper 5.
Then it’s on to some medical supplies, emergency rations and some clothing items. I already have my water and “cooking kit” ironed out. BUT I wouldn’t reject any good pump type water filter/purifier. Maybe even two for redundancy.

Although we have BOB's our primary goal is to shelter in place.

I have reduced my BOB and my Get home kit into the same thing.

I'm often 200 miles from home so I keep just enough to get me through a potential long walk. It's really not too much. I need to make up a BOB for my wife. Our plan if things are bad is to stay home. But wildfires, railroad accidents, or a chemical spill could change that priority pretty quickly.

I totally agree with you M/B. A wildfire or train derailment / chemical spill west of us would be the most likely reasons for us to leave home.
