Evening dogs. Just got some bad news. Our Granddaughter is 14. Just started 9th grade public school this year (she was going to a Catholic school). Any way she had been complaining about her back hurting. They took her to a Doctor and she had a very severe case of spinal scoliosis. It is curved VERY bad. The closest doctors that can help he4 are in St. Louis, about 125 miles from her home. She’s very active in Volly ball and if she can’t play it is gonna destroy her. We are praying that at her age she can wear a brace for a while and won’t need surgery. We’ll just have to wait and see what the specialists have to say.

Sorry to hear that Randy, as my daughter had the same thing years ago. However, with proper medical care she was able to overcome the problem and lead a normal life. Keep the faith !

Just saw a T-Shirt that said “Raised by a Patriot, Raised to be one”.

Many folks I don’t think really know what this means. SPOILER ALERT, it means loving your COUNTRY and what it collectively means. NOT necessarily loving your government. Patriotism means loving your country and being willing to do what is needed to see that IT, not “the government” is what endures.

My sister had scoliosis and had to have surgery when she was about 12. She is happy and healthy in her late 50's.

We got a hard freeze this morning. Which means at most I may have to mow the grass one more time.

I'm probably going to go in and vote early this year. Hopefully, avoid any shenanigans that may occur in early November.
