Bought a few more cans of meat. Beef, Turkey, ground burger and chicken. Also got a couple canned hams. All good until late ‘29. Couldn’t tell ya how much water we got plus straws and I’m still looking for a good pump. But I don’t have Tom’s money so the Katadyn pocket filters are out.

Randy, you should have listened to me when I told you about that Katadyn pocket filter for $100.00, but you were stubborn. Yeah I know, but life was happening then. Now that we don’t have a house payment (or credit cards) and I don’t have to drive 160 miles a week to work, things aren’t quite as bad. PLUS the pay raise I got when I retired shore do halp.

I guess the shortage hasn’t hit up there yet Ray. Chitlins, black eyed peas, cornbread and hog jowl. Oh and home made sausage.

Ruger LCP ll for possible “Rodent” infestations that may occur when we leave our little 1.12 square mile town. If we’re only going local, say within 50 miles! I’ll carry my Hellcat, P320 or Colt King Cobra. I WILL be packin the Ruger when we have to go to St. Louis. Strangely enough I’ve not seen any no firearms allowed signs on the medical facilities we go to.
