Yep, If an LEO requests to see your TRUST document you have to provide it. If you don't it's a paddling. LOL, it was free easy just really weird. I can see it for some of the more powerful drones. But it literally includes the cheap indoor children's toys. It's odd. If you use it to make money on YouTube posting videos it requires a commercial drone pilot's license. For real. And if it is over. 55 lbs it requires a transponder and must be registered,

I'm waiting to take delivery of a small but capable camera drone. No License, no transponder but does cool things. I figured I would knock out the required safety training and I have been spending a little time using a drone flight simulator to try and get ahead of the curve on flying it. One of the YouTube preppers I occasionally watch pointed out some good uses for one. On top of the pure entertainment value, it seems like a decent buy.

I'll see how it works out but from all the stuff I have seen online, it appears to be a solid usable camera drone. That can be flown 4 different ways. Each with its own advantages. Unfortunately, the most fun way isn't available in the U.S. yet. Canada and everywhere else beat us by months on the release for FPV flying.

My stepson bought me a drone (a nice one) about oh 5 or 6 years ago. Had it over a year and never used it. Gave it back to him and the grandson and they flew it until a catastrophic crash.

I’ve just never had a hankering for one. Also I have never been one that was into video games. I MIGHT use one for a month then, meh. Heck I can’t even tell you the last time we turned our TV on. It MIGHT have been around around the 4th of July but I’m not sure. Technology does fascinate me, I’m just not all that hyped about owning most of it.

I had a cheap camera drone years ago and flew/crashed it once. Didn't hurt it so I set it on my desk. Then my wifes' dog ate it before I could attempt another flight.

I picked one up as a hobby plus I was kinda sold on it after watching a video. The guy uses his to check routes when hiking and for use during disasters to scout routes ahead before committing to a route that may be impassable or have unforeseen hazards.

I'll probably use mine for photography, and video when out on the ATV or SXS so I can share it with family who can't don't get out into some of the wilder spots. If I enjoy it enough this one can be fitted with goggles and a hand controller for first person flight. It looks entertaining.

With any luck, I'll be able to fly this one without destroying it. LOL, it's supposed to be pretty idiot-proof, but I have skills when it comes to destroying stuff on accident.

Good late evening Yard. Seems like a long day today, running around and getting everything ready for the trip. I'm glad we don't do this very often !
