Rain let up and it’s a lot brighter, but still completely overcast. Both our local and the Wx channel are saying we are gonna be in For it starting about 8pm until around 10. Heavy rain, wind and possibly Tornadoes . Right now they have us under a tornado warning or watch, which ever is less severe. I always get them mixed up.

The watch is less severe, meaning conditions are conducive for tornadoes, while a WARNING means a tornado has actually been detected. Either way, keep a sharp eye on the weather !

Good afternoon Yard. I hope Randy is doing OK.

Made it through another night and day without US having any trouble. But just 11 miles away on3 if the major highways through Southeast Missouri is still closed from Wednesday. Mainly due to major power lines broken. The electric company said 100 poles need replacing along about an 11 mile stretch.

Glad you guys are OK, but the linesmen are sure going to be earning their money for a while.

Good morning. Yes they are Tom. And more rain predicted along with 46 degree highs and predicted freezing warnings through Wednesday morning.

That's why one of the local weathermen always says to wait until May 10th to plant your garden. To go from highs of 80 to freezing temps really illustrates the crazy Missouri weather.
