Found this nifty little bullet energy calculator today. Don’t know how accurate it is but seems to at least be in the ballpark.

OK, I was going to a keep my mouth shut for once. But I’m so excited.

Last week I bought a suppressor for Miss Piggy and my DTS Special. (Just one suppressor) Got all the paperwork done and submitted through a silencer Co Kiosk and the Gun store. YESTERDAY they said my paperwork was all ready to go and to come on in and e-certify, thereby submitting the paperwork to the ATF for approval. Now this mind you was at 11am YESTERDAY morning. I was all set to wait my possibly 23 days for it to come back.

I got an email this morning date stamped 10:04 that my tax stamp WAS APPROVED! So Patty and I went wrap speed and I am now, for better or worse, the owner of a YHM Resonator R2 30 caliber can. grin cool

Well, congratulations! Now when you let off a long burst in the outhouse, you won’t hurt your ears.

We made it. Two tornados. One tore up two houses about 3 miles away. Unfortunately one person died. At least one church was destroyed but no more deaths that we know of. Once again GOD chose to spare us.

Yeah, some of those “Bugs” can be awful mean. I think they’re escaping to the South for a better way of life.

I just found an interesting site.
It’s the Internet Firearms Database. Looks like you look up a certain firearm and then it tells you what movie# the said gun was in, I think. Any way, here it is

I was piddling around today and got to wondering how much Miss Piggy really weighs all dressed up. So, wearing her new nose piece, new Tac Light, sling etc, plus a 20 round mag full of Hornady 190gr Subs she weighs 9.6 pounds. Now when I add the 6 (30 round mags holding 125gr PSA AAC Saber Black Tip loads) in the mag vest the total load out is 19.8 pounds.

Yeah, being so short collapsed (31.250 inches with the suppressor) she is a chunk. Extended she’s 34.125 inches long.

She is a chunk! If my memory is correct, that’s fairly close (within a pound or 2) to what an M14 with a 20 round mag weighs.
