God smiled on us again. All we got here was moderate wind, heavy rain and we had quarter size hail for a couple minutes. There were 4 tornadoes within 25 mile radius of us. One of them a couple miles south of the grandkids

Sop far we have planted tomatoes, peppers, cucumbers, and sweet potatoes. Next will be green beans and cantaloupe, then spinach and kale.

Rained early this morning. Sun is out now and high in the upper 80’s. Storms predicted again, oh joy.

Afternoon Yard!

It finally stopped raining enough to do some yard work. I got some salt thrown out on my driveway in the back of the property. The darned thing was so overgrown last summer that I should have used a brush hog to clear it. If it was drier I would burn off whats left. Vinegar and epsom salt killed some of it but there is some persistent stuff that just keeps growing.

A little too close to William Tecumseh Sherman tactics but it should work wink
