I was hoping that the ones from the Swamp would have come over here when they let it die but it didn't happen.

Good afternoon Yard. Another nice sunny day today, and the rest of the week as well. Doing a little straightening up in the garage, planning ahead for Winter.

Evening Yard!
I finally got a decent start on the chicken coop. Frame is up and the floor is cut and in. I need to grab something to waterproof the floor and make it easier to clean up. I still need to get either wood or composite for the roof. I went to Lowe's yesterday and they didn't have any plywood that was worth a darned. Everything I saw was pretty bad. I picked up a few more 2x4's just to have on hand but the quality I got this time was pretty bad compared to what I already had for the frame, allegedly the same quality though.
The rain is coming in, so I made some Pico De Gallo to go with Fajita's tonight.
I should be able to get everything waterproofed tomorrow and I'll be able to get the walls up pretty quick when it dries up enough to work outside. I really need a shop to work in. Having to empty the garage every time just to use my table saw isn't ideal.

Hey MB, you ever think of Rhino or Raptor liner for your waterproof floor? Heck I bet it would work for waterproofing a roof as well.

"Liquid rubber in a can" should work well also. I used it to coat the rivets on one of my boats that would let water seep in ; problem solved.

I sealed the flooring with polyurethane. I will probably do a couple of coats and then maybe the inside with black jack rubr coat 57. I'm hoping that will keep the floor from rotting out.
I'm guessing a Govt shut down isn't really going to hurt the nation.

In times past, we, personally couldn’t tell any difference. Then again although our income (mostly) comes from the government our checks are not affected by shutdowns.
But I DO feel sorry for those who will not get paid until some sort of settlement is reached. And of course, members of Congress paychecks probably are not on the chopping block. THEY SHOULD BE, just like other federal workers.
