Hey Ray, I just tried my first brew using the Blackout Coffee 1776 dark roast. It IS better than the Dunkin medium roast. So far no acidic your aftertaste.
I used 567-570 grams of water and 27 grams of fresh ground beans. Is that a good ratio or is it to weak? It would be too weak for me. I use 20 grams of coffee to 200 milliliters of water. BUT all that matters is if it tastes good to you, it is the correct ratio.

It DOES seem a little weak. I’m thinking of upping it to 30gr of coffee and seeing how it tastes. I can then go from there. Thank you Ray.

I would have loved to have seen them. It was the most likely day to see them here. It was too cloudy but a few people got a show between breaks in the clouds.
I'm taking my wife a few towns away for her last eye surgery today. A pretty simple outpatient procedure. She is sick, but they told her that as long as she didn't have a fever, they would do the surgery. I'm hoping they can, since we met our medical deductible for the year, and it will save us thousands if we can get it done before the end of the year.
After I may let her take me to lunch/early dinner.

I had my coloscopy today, one polyp and a little diverticulosis. The doctor said I look good so I'm glad for that. We celebrated with a couple of McRibs afterward.
