I started the other thread as an observation. Sometimes small imperfection happen, I'm not worried about it! In fact, I think it adds personality. *********At the price they are offering, IMO it isn't fair to complain about such a minor detail!

Scrappy's ears have been laid down into more of an attack position. We did this when the logo was reworked. We wanted to make sure that our dog reflected the true nature of the beast. Dan

Got to say on mine the top of the head line IS missing- it didn't go through the black. A minor pity on a great knife- but no great cause for regret!

From what I can see on the picture, a minor cosmetic issue but the SS4 is such a value, who can complain (much) about it?

I don't see any missing ears? The lines are a bit thin on top but they look like they are there. [censored] nice logo though.

Yeah, mine is just like what is shown in the picture. But you know what? I did not even notice until I read this thread and then looked closely at it.
Which coin is worth more to the collector, is it the perfectly minted coin that is identical to all the others, or is it the one in a million with some sort of imperfection? Times up. Yep, the coin the left the mint with some sort of imperfection that really brings top dollar from the coin collectors (at least with US coins).
If this was intentional as Dan has said, then all is well, the logo is cool and I have a great knife. If it was an accident, an imperfection or a one time thing then it will probably increase the value of the knife to the collecting community and now I have a great knife that has a higher value. Either way I win. What's not to like?
