In spite of the fact that we had inventory control activated the enormous number of orders that hit at the exact same time overwhelmed our server and allowed more orders to be placed than we had product to sell. We will be sorting this out over the next 24 to 48 hours. We will contact everyone that placed an order to let them know whether or not their order was accepted

My order was placed on hold because of a payment issue. Invoice #1524. I called American Express and they said the payment was approved. So does that mean I'm ok as long as my order was placed while you still had knives to sell?

Dan - I ordered another SS4 for one of our Troops getting ready to deploy to Afghanistan, as he said he could not be here tonight. I will try to contact him to make sure he does not "double up" an order. My invoice # is 1574, and I will get back to you as soon as I confirm with him. Tom

I had considered ordering a few. I am glad now I did not; obviously, demand far outstripped supply.

Man, I had one in the cart and by the time I almost finished the check-out, system said Scrapper 4 is no longer available. I wasn't aware my cart could be stolen like that. Bummer!

I knew there was trouble when i tested an order for 12,000 units and it was accepted- I did not complete it, but did see the real time inventory was not working (if that was the system you were using)...

That is really nice of Dennis and the rest of you to be willing to give up your oder so someone who did not get one could. The whole family attitude and positive
outlook I see here is really special.

Hey hey hey, I'm not giving up ALL of my order - I still want at least one. Heck, I'd like ALL of hte ones that I ordered. But they are for other folks's. If someone took the time to try and grab ONE and got shafted, I'd rather they got the knife than anyone else.

So should I expect a phone call or an email? I have not sent them any "contact us" as I figure they are busy figuring things out. This was to be my first Scrap Yard, my invoice time was 18:59:27...I am on the edge of my seat.
