When gator water just won't do
It was a local brew from Ipswich. I had to save the "stopper" to get my refund on the bottle deposit. Sounds so ancient and quaint now, but Tolly Cobold made some good ales. God only knows how many brain cells I lost to it!

Horned, dangerous, and off my medication.

Unfortunately I have drinkin too much Sam's in my time. Love them all. Love Brown Ale's too. New Castle is the best BA hands down, but I am always willing to search for a new fav.

Try the Sam Adams Summer Ale if you can find it. Nice wheat beer. I know it sounds funny, but add an orange slice to it. It has replaced Corona and lime for me this and several previous summers.

WD, thank you so much for the picture and the site. When I would tell my fellow home brewers that I was trying to make Tolly Cobbold Cobnut, they just laughed, as none had ever heard of it. It was a glorious, very drinkable ale, not too heavy. I am glad it is still around. Memories!

Bruce, just saw you drank Newcastle Brown Ale (Newky Brown to all in the know!) great beer but it's got to be cold and drunk from the bottle! NEVER put it in a glass, it really tastes different!!

Oooops! When I go to my steakhouse I always have themget the biggest mug which holds about two bottles (somewhere around 24 oz or just a bit bigger) and fill it up.

I will have to try it your way as you would know better. Either way it is a [censored] fine brew!!

Mmmmm.....Shiner Bock. Samuel Adams is practically sacrilege in this town. Good luck finding it at 95% of the etablishments around here. Althought the same can be said of Coors, and Miller.
