Unless I'm mistaken, I didn't see a pic with you holding your Shaker, Andy. The pic of your Shaker in the jaws of the mouse trap gives a pretty good idea of relative size. But a pic of your Shaker in hand would be even better. Would you mind taking one or two?

Ok, here’s a couple in hand. I realized that my hands are larger than average (I could palm a basketball when I was 12) and it would distort the scale maybe, so I put in two items that everyone would know the size of (Bic & shotgun shell).

Here’s some old ones showing to “human scale”:

I was thinking of pirates on TV and movies always holding a knife in their teeth.

Then I decided to make a funny face and stick my tongue through the handle hole.

A Wolverine-ish imitation.

And with a phone pole.

And, you may not have seen it, but up a directory from the Shaker album are pics of it with other knives, so that would help tell you the size if you had those knives. Here’s a few from there:

It’s a great size, the blade is like 2” long. It weighs 1.9 oz, which isn’t bad. I wear it all day until I go to bed. I love my new sheath for it. Now I can also carry it with the neck sheath when I wear PJs with no pockets. Before I had my sheath, I couldn’t carry it in my PJs that had no pockets. It’s large enough for most things, but if it’s a job that needs a bigger knife, I also carry my HRLM on my belt. It’s also good for those that work in a sheeple environment. Being small, it looks more like a utility knife than a weapon.

I recently started also carrying my Inova keychain LED light on my bead chain along with the Shaker. I don’t notice the weight difference, and it comes in handy at night in a dark house to let the dog out and make sure I don’t step on one of our 3 cats in the dark, or trip over something. Here’s a pic Mom took of me today on our porch so you can see the sheath and light.

You look like you have lost a bit of weight now that winter is over and you can get out more?

Thanks for the pics, Andy. I still haven't got on the neck knife band wagon. For a small blade, I still go with pocket knives. Maybe it's just my age. Since I always wear pants with pockets, a pocket knife just seems pratical to me. Love those HR LMs. I noticed that they are back up on the Swamp Rat store.

Horned, dangerous, and off my medication.

One of those little knives would be perfect for my daughter.....I think she would like a belt sheath though.

When you care enough to use only the best...stick'em with a SKYCO knife.
