I didn't want to post pictures of the gifts I gave to Dan and Patti until I had Dan's OK, because I didn't want Dan or anyone else to get the wrong idea. I made these for them to thank them for introducing us all to their knives and for giving me a fresh opportunity to make sheaths for those who wanted and needed them. I have already been contacted by someone who saw the sheath at the Blade show and wanted to order two of them, I turned them down. I told them it's Dan's logo and I didn't intend to make more, I couldn't if I wanted to, even if Dan wanted me to I don't know if I would, it takes a lot of time and effort to do this level of work, most people want something they can use at a reasonable price and to add tooling like this can get expensive. These are one of a kind pieces. Not that I won't do tooling, I will, but at this level it's just not practical for most people. Once I had the idea in my head to make the sheath for Dan, it just didn't seam right not to make something for Patti too. I know she's as important a part of SYKCO as Dan, so I had to make something for her as well. I knew she would probably enjoy something with their logo on it too and the braided lanyard just seamed to go good with it.

Dan and Patti thanks again for all you've done. <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/thumbup.gif" alt="" /> <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/bowdown.gif" alt="" />

And thanks for letting me show off the work, it was fun making them and I know they now have a good and appropriate home.

So without further adue here they are... <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/grin.gif" alt="" />

In a perfect world I'd just do this kinda stuff all the time instead of the regular ole 9 to 5... <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/crazy.gif" alt="" />

Jeff, it was a pleasure meeting you and your wife. I have had a hard time keeping this secret. Glad you finally posted it. Beautiful work, man. You are an artist!

I know you don't want to hear this, but that lanyard would be sweet if mass produced!!!! I would buy five or six just because!!

That is amazing and a really sweet gesture. I bet he and patti love it.
It is to nice for a DFCG though so maybe it will get Dan moving on the DFLE's?
That was the plan right? You can tell us.
