OP Helle Pooch Joined: Oct 2006 Posts: 69 MN	First, off it reminds me of a more robust version of one of my favorite folders a BM 800 or 806. Second, it has that beautiful rounded spine <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/thumbup.gif" alt="" /> which reminds me of a Sebenza, another favorite. Third, I've liked Res-C since the Busse Basic days put this mudder grip is Oh so sweet. Fourth, It feels good in any grip position I put it. Fith, I like the balance Sixth, The logo kicks donkey. And last but not least<img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/bowdown.gif" alt="" />It's made of INFI.<img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/bowdown.gif" alt="" /> I'm sure this list will get longer as time gos by because I haven't used it meaningfully yet <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/frown.gif" alt="" /> but its time will come. Rich Mongrel Joined: Sep 2006 Posts: 470 Lexington, SC	I took my SS4 for a walk in the yard this weekend and let it play outside for a while. Although I would not let it play too hard, or mess around with the big boys, it did a fine job on the smaller, lighter tasks that I put it too. Mostly I used it to trim shrubbery and sharpen zombie sticks for the grand kids. Not only did it perform well, but when play time was over it cleaned up real easy and did not require any sharpening. All in all, quite an enjoyable day in the yard.

If&when i get my Scrapper4 I'm thinking about Kydex with Tek-Lock (have heard good things about BuyBrownHolsters.com). This will be EDCed a LOT so I want something comfortable, and that i can mount at different angles/draws, etc. I can't wait! Unsub Junk Yard Dog Joined: Dec 2006 Posts: 3,873 Northern saskatchawan	I have only had my SS4 goingf on 10 minutes and the thing that has impressed me the most is the ergonomic handle. Clearly Dan put alot of thought and time into it. It works with so many grips and you can chocke yp with the choil or grab it way back and snap your wrist for some improvised chopping. My ears are laid back but there(well not my ears the logos ears)all there. The mudder handle where it meets the polished spine is not as chewed up as in some of the photos as well. I have always liked a fixed blade as EDC and now I have one that is perfect. "if you want to be a hero you have to learn to drive stick"! Sara Conner

A good way to carry long pieces of metal comfortably has never been effectivly solved and all through history men have smacked their swords against table legs tripped over them and dropped them. I have been carrying my Sting boot knife in the ankle sheath it came with. It is not well made but it works really well with my ankle high boots and it is strictly for emergencys so I don't use it much. For the SS4 which I intend to EDC(legal in canada). I will try a kydex sheath with tekloc on the back of my belt or suspenders. I have given some thought to the Strider pancake of death Molle pod but it is very pricey. Dave "Buy Brown" is TOPS in my opinion when it comes to drastic plastic...He would make an excellant choice for your SS4 rig!
