dunno if this has been answered previously..
Are there/Will there be ScrapYard knives with talon holes?
I think talon holes would be hella handy..

On large choppers could be used with a front lanyard for better hand retention when going "Andy Wayne" on a car hood.

On smaller knives can be used for retention in sheaths.
while hanging upside down from a tree.. don't want your sidearm & knife falling out.. ya never know.

I think it a Busse trademark and as such will not appear on scrapyard or swamprat knives. Somebody smarter chime in if I am wrong.

The Crash Axe has it's tube fasteners spaced just right for a nice D-guard.

Now I just need some tan paracord.

Beside that, we are out of luck, no Talon hole for the Scrap yard (unless they scavenge something that already has the hole and Jerry doesn't mind).

Arf arf arf... That's my other dog impression.

Talon holes are a Busse thing but I'm not sure about a trademark as the Buckmaster (non hollow handle variant) and Intrepid both had talon holes... Other knives also have them so either it can't be enforced or Busse doesn't want to waste the money finding out whether it can be or not!

Stuff like blade shapes and features are hard to patent because there have been so many different knives made that finding an old one withsay a talon hole is easy.
I know alot of cutting competion knives have them for a safer style of lanyard.
Loveless chute knives had them but with one at the top as well. Cold Steal took alot of heat for the wave feature their AK47 folder had.

I think the reason not to do something like that is 1 to show respect and 2 to do
something different that you can say is your own. If Dan wanted to make Busse knives he could but he started his own company to do something different.

That is correct, its is a trademark of Busse Combat I'm not sure I could afford enough Jonny Walker Blue to get Jerry to agree to give me permission

LOL.. yeah we'll all chip in to get him drunk enough so we can steal his talon holes.
hmm.. i think i'm gonna try this on a beater knife first.. dunno if i got any drill bits that'll make it thru sr-77, let alone Infi.

If you keep water on the work while you drill it will be fine.
