Thanks for taking the time to do this. I also have the Central Machinery worlds best grinder (a joke), it's what I finish Kydex on. I need some scotch brite wheels though they look handy.

Update: Since I did the tutorial I have acquired some very dense Scotchbrite medium wheels. These will actually smooth out some of the rough areas without sanding and altering the shape. They do leave scratches, but those are smoothed out pretty well by the very fine wheels.

Horned, dangerous, and off my medication.

Great thread.

One thing I use for getting those hard to reach corners near the handle is pieces of grinding belts cut to the size of a 25cent piece (or smaller if needed) and used in the dremel. You just poke a hole with your SS4 in the middle and use the dremmel bit with the screw in the end. I use a LOT of these as a 80 grit disk can remove material and metal and 600 grit will polish. You can even use regular sandpaper if you have a belt disk as backing.

<img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/thumbup.gif" alt="" /> Good idea Unsub!

Great way to get those sanding discs in a really fine grit.
