Well, there is broadband service available if you want to pay for it. We used a computer at one of the nearby town's library once - It was was wonderfully fast! Perhaps the leather clad one is busy sewing leather ?!? <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/smile.gif" alt="" />

The town I live near has a population of 259, and the only real going concern is the Post Office. Of course, 6 miles west is a town of 52 folks, but they have a small utility trailer maker. Niether town is named Podunk, but close enough in size ?

Yes. Hard to believe that 50 years ago this was really a nice little country town, with a bank, gas stations, school, hospital, drug and hardware store. Now it is just a bunch of retirees and welfare cases, and no businesses other than small farms and ranches like mine. Of course, we don't have gang problems, polluting factories, traffic jams, and other problems related to more modern "developed" cities.
