Has anyone else noticed how many people are viewing and/or participating in this forum? As I write this there are 37 viewing. That's a lot of folks! Not too long ago there would only be 5 - 10 on a good day.

There has been a huge amount of excitment and interest in the Scrapper4INFI
offer. I spend some(way to much)time on a canadian knife forum and the response to the scrapper has been quite impressive. I felt like a company spoksperson I answered so many questions. I have mixed feelings ,I want the yard to do well but I really want to be able to get a bowie when they come out. As long as the yard retains the family atmosphere I will be a happy puppy.

i hope there's enough bowies to go around. i'm not gonna cry if i don't get one. i hope.

I only hope that Dan and Patti will do some sort of preordering/reservation type thing so that us loyal obiedent dogs can score a bowie. Hint Hint <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/wink.gif" alt="" />

That is a tough question whether to give previous buyers first dibs or to have an extravaganza type deal. I think it should be first come first serve but with no
advance warning so the people who spend alot of time in the yard have a good shot.
I would also like to see a limit to multiple orders at least until demand dies down.

I think these knives are worth the wait and more. I would be inclined to think that those who haunt this pound get a crack at the offerings earlier just because they are interested. The folks that do not hang out around here will find out later. So, no pre announcement is necessary!

BTW, I have only known about this site and these knives for about a month. Caveat Emptor if you are purchasing something else!

It shows how succesfull coming out with a small amount of INFI knives was in
creating a buzz in the industry and putting the Yard on the map. Congrats
are well deserved and in alot of ways I think the S7 knives will be even more exciting because there will be more of them and they will be a better value.

It's the well known INFI halo effect. I mean it worked for Apple with the iPod halo effect. They are stronger than ever.

I must admit that I lurk most of the time. I read everything but hardley post because I am doing other work crap. I usually come on look real quickly and if I need to..type. I am sorry about that. My home computer sucks so I use only the work one.

Dan, as you might guess I am quite fond of Tom Baker's Doctor. I like them all, including the current one, but Tom is really hard to beat.

I will be changing the avatar every so often to give each of the other Doctors a chance, but I had to start with Tom.

You have my word on maintaining a family atmosphere. It is a critical requirement for me to continue to make and sell knives. I refuse to sell to people who are not "family oriented" and I invite all to be part of this. The Dogs are on a mission to make this the best knife forum in the industry, so help me keep it this way. I would like to see some more different threads on the yard forum although right now everyone is excited about the realese of the DF and it will only get worse when they are in the mail. Expect about 15 different "look what I chopped with my DF" threads when the DF actually gets to it's new homes.
