Today, the letter carrier delivered my new SRKW M6. If you've ever wanted a Scrapper 6 with micarta scales, this is it. The M6 is heavier and has its balance point about 1" behind the blade. The Scrapper 6 is "livelier" in the hand, but the M6 still feels pretty good to me.The M6 sports differentially tempered SR 101 steel and has a high saber grind. The Scrapper 6 has a SR-77 flat ground blade. For me, the Scrapper 6 is more comfortable and quicker (more of a fighter). Both knives appear to be about 1/4" thick. Sorry for the "foggy" pics. My camera lens was fogging up. ![[Linked Image from i173.photobucket.com]](http://i173.photobucket.com/albums/w64/rivershaman/M6001.jpg) ![[Linked Image from i173.photobucket.com]](http://i173.photobucket.com/albums/w64/rivershaman/M6002.jpg) ![[Linked Image from i173.photobucket.com]](http://i173.photobucket.com/albums/w64/rivershaman/M6004.jpg) Here are some other Busse Knife Group knives for size comparison. ![[Linked Image from i173.photobucket.com]](http://i173.photobucket.com/albums/w64/rivershaman/M6003.jpg) The Scrapper 6 blade is about 1/2" longer than the M6 blade.

Awesome group shot there. You can't go wrong with either blade in my book.

I just sold my M6 as the handle was a bit big for my little girlish hands. I would recommend it to anyone to whom the Scrappers have to small a handle for. I would give it "the edge" when it comes to edge retention over the S6.

Great group shot! Spanked the ani' SH yet? No, but it does have a very nice feel to it. Since I have Scrapper 6s and now the M6, I doubt that I will use the Busse. I honestly bought it just to look at. I know, that is kind of crazy, but it is true.
Horned, dangerous, and off my medication.

Overall length on the M6 is 11 11/16". The Blade is 6" long from the edge of the micarta handle. The Scrapper 6 is 11 1/2" overall length with a 6 7/16" blade measured from the Res C handle. The full flat grind starts at the spine. A saber grind starts some distance below the spine.

The M6 has some heft to it due to the saber grind and the full tang with micarta scales. It does feel very rugged and could do some light chopping. Both knives feel good, but I prefer the feel of the Scrapper 6.
Horned, dangerous, and off my medication.
