I'm wanting to buy one ... or three, I can't decide. Trouble is, I've been watching https://shop.scrapyardknives.com/ for some time, and they never become available for purchase. Does everything get sold out here on the forums before it makes it to the sale page? How do I buy the knife?

The Scrapper 4 was a one off, one of a kind, never to be repeated blade unfortunately. <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/frown.gif" alt="" />
If you check the exchange forums over at bladeforums.com they pop up there regularly.
Check in here regularly though, as Dan is really good to give us a heads up when there will be news blades!

You will get 48 Hrs notice before a knife comes up for sale !
There will be more SS4's soon but they will be made with SR77 and not INFI !!!

Welcome Fletch. I picked my SS4 up on the secondary market since I missed the initial offering. Check the major boards in the for sale section and you can score one. I passed up several sales until I found one within my budget. The SS4 is a great knife.

Welcome to the Yard Fletch! I too bought my SS4 off of the secondary market. They are around and available, you just have to watch for them.

Fletch, no one here mentioned it- just in case you don't know Dan's warranty like Jerry's is transferable! Even 'used' yard knives have a 'cast iron' (cast INFI?) forever warranty! (Busse warranty) Best in the business..

Welcome to the Yard! Dan’s knives are in VERY high demand, with the entire stock selling out in mere minutes sometimes. If you want a chance at a new model when it’s released, your best bet is to check the forum a couple times a week. Dan posts a notice before a new knife is released, so then you’ll know when and where before it’s listed for sale. The SS4 is a great knife. You’re best chance at one is probably eBay, Blade Forums, or the Busse Kin Exchange.
