Sorry for your loss, my grandfather is going in for open heart surgery Sept 7th. I am glad you used the "extra time" with your father. When all is said and done the only thing that matters in life is your friends and family.

Gee POP, I don't know how I missed this thread. I hope that your recovery goes well - you're truly a gentleman, and a great friend and member of the Yard. I've gotten a couple of very touching PM's from you - the most personal notes from anyone in the yard, about family, etc, and they really meant a lot. I'll keep you in my prayers brother - take care of yourself, and God bless. Before you know it, you'll be 100% better and taking the family on that long vacation that we talked about a few months back.
I'm greatly looking forward to a time when you and I, Vic, Ron, the Dans (Boss/WD/Melone), Tom, Chris, Stan, Lew, Vance, James, and the rest of the Dogs who I haven't thought of off the top of my head are able to get together for a nice dinner and a drink. Hang in there buddy - we're all pulling for you!
