I would like to know how many members own tomahawks....I am more interested in wood handled tomahawks. I would like pictures, if you have them. Here is a picture of my Fort Turner.

I like that one, but I like the "Roger's Rangers" model better. Why must it cost twice as much? I'm currently trying to decide whether to get the SOG VTAC or the Cold Steel Vietnam hawk. They're both vietnam style spike hawks. I know I NEED one of them. I'm also looking for a functional, affordable Roman axe. Something like this: This is one I'll probably HAVE to have. Maybe after the Vietnam hawk. It's from Condor. As of now, this is my only hawk. Sorry, no wood.

BRAMEL - that's a nice looking hawk! <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/thumbup.gif" alt="" /> I have two Cold Steel hawks - the Rifleman and the VietNam tomahawk. I personally like a good poll on the hawk for hammering/driving, etc. The curved blade point can be used for piercing cans, etc. Tom

hey stabby I don't hava a hawk but want one and I vote for the cold steel over the sog, I have yet to read a good review about SOG it even says not for throwing on it. so the CS is your best bet they beat the trash out of their stuff all the time. I personaly like the poll or norse hawk

I'm afraid my tomahawk collection is lacking. I saw some nice ones at Blade from Condor that interested me. Here is my POS Cold Steel Norse Hawk: Here is my Viking Bearded Axe from Museum Replicas: Here they are together:
Horned, dangerous, and off my medication.

TradBowBoy recommended the Fort Turner hawks to me. I will hopefully pick one up soon. My friend gave me a forged one for my B-Day two years ago. I made a leather cover for it.

Horn Dog,
I really like the look of your viking axe.....how does she chop? Pretty well, actually. I prefer my Gerber Camp Axe for chopping, though.
Horned, dangerous, and off my medication.
