I just ordered a Ft. Turner hawk, too. And a throwing knife. American made and not too pricey. I like that.

Horned, dangerous, and off my medication.

I will do that! I can't wait to get this and make a sheath for it.

Man, I need to go camping. Problem is I want to bring all of my knives. I want to do primitive as I always do modern.

HD, that was my conclusion as well. How long will it take? A few days I would think.

Were going to have a tomahawk party tonight ,alright!

I love this primitive/fur trade thing we have going on here at the yard ttoday.
Mostly thanks to DMelone's cool Dag and hawk pics.

Once it cools off I wil get stripping my new norse hawk.

Speaking of Last of the mohicans and Rodgers Rangers I bought (and would recommend) a book by Stephen Brumwell called "White Devil" about the 7 year war and Rodgers Rangers.

Brumwell is working on another book about General Wolfe who is the Washington of canadian history. He had a spectacular battle where he and the enemy French general both died at the end on the plains of abraham.

My favorite fact about the 7 year war is it lasted 9 years.

Unsub, my Norse Hawk is bent. The flat is not in line with the handle. I think I'll beat it up some. The Buck Hawk I have coming from Ft. Turner looks a lot like the CS Norse Hawk.

Horned, dangerous, and off my medication.

SR77 would be a great steel for a hawk! Only Dan's would be thicker than most!
