Here's my first attempt at a lanyard. It's a little rough, and the finishing knot looks like hell.

Wicked looking Hawk, Stabby. Its a better lanyard than I could do. Love that spike. I wish my Fort Turner Hawk would come in.

Horned, dangerous, and off my medication.

That is one sweet hawk! The lanyard looks good too.

HD, You should email Ft. Turner to see where they are.

Finally, my Ft. Turner Hawk and throwing knife came in. Here they are along side my other hawks.

Its a bit lighter and smaller than the CS. It feels so good, just begging to be thrown.

It even came with throwing instructions, as did the knife.

What the heck. Thunk! Got the range on the second try. I gotta get a target. The other marks on the tree are from my knife.

Not so good with the knife. It is designed for the handle hold throw, which I have not yet perfected. I'm hitting about one out of three. I did better with the CS, but I think I can get the hang of this one. Its 98 here and I worked up a sweat fast throwing and retreiving the knife.

Been without power since about 7:30. Drank beer with my good-looking widow from next door on the back porch (3rd World Grind Shop). Odin loves me and my new hawk.

Very nice HD!! How does the knife chop for a thrower? I am happy that they finally arrived!

I have not chopped with it yet, Dan. Feels like it would work fine as a light hand axe. It throws well.

Great action pics! <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/thumbup.gif" alt="" />

I don't know which I like better the Hawk or that knife... <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/ooo.gif" alt="" />

The knife looks like a good all around knife as well as a thrower. <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/thumbup.gif" alt="" />

It is 1050. Maybe it would take an edge. I still don't stick it well, but the handle hold throw is new for me. Gotta a get a target soon before I kill all my trees and make it even hotter here!

I have been waiting and waiting for the Yard to produce, but got the bug real bad tonight... and found a new ATC Vtac on ebay tonight for 109shipped, good enough. Pulled the trigger easily enough... and I plan to order a H&B thrower and midevil spike in the near future... pure sweetness.
