So,not knowing your city personally I want take a chance and give a compliment back to you for the dog in your avatar.Albeit loving dogs in general,I say the bulldog blooded are usually the best, not much comes close!

Busse offers the edge grind of your choice: Convex, V, or Assymetrical. The primary grind depends on the specific knife, they have done nearly every concevable grind so far from full convex to the new corrugated bevel.

Swamp Rat has always used a convex edge with a flat primary. Mostly as primary grinds go they stick with a 3/4 or saber grind, but i have full flat grind Rats.

The Dogs seem to follow the same tradition as the Rats.

I can't say I've visited your fair city, Alex. But my wife has been there and loved it.

Thanks for the compliment. The dog, however, is not mine. I came across his picture recently and felt he represented the true spirit of the Junk Yard Dog. So I "borrowed" it for my avatar. A recent acquisition from The Yard compelled me to change my avatar again, however.

I see, very nice to hear that she liked it so much
May I then suggest next time,if she by any chance plans to visit Cologne again, you insist on being taken with her and we'll meet for a little SYKCO summit?!

Greetz,Alex
