Yeah POP - those were the first RW sheaths that I saw pix of - top notch! I think Bors was making some leather sheaths w/ pouches - or pouches w/ sheaths on them I guess They were cool looking though.

That kydex plate is a cool idea as well - although I don't see me wearing out my LF sheath any time in the next 100 years!!

I haven't seen Dave around too much lately...

Last time I checked the SYKCO store had DF sheaths in stock for $19.95.

Yes! but, he wants leather.
Oh. I didn't get that from his post. Leather is nicer but cordura works just as well.

Oh, I want cordura too. I like the extra pouch in front for my sweedish steel, sandpaper, multi tool, or whatever.

Aside from the Co. sheath are there any other cordura brands out there. Survival type sheaths? I have looked at Spec-Ops, and they only went up to 8" I think.

SYKCO, Ontario, and Ranger Knives are the only source I know of for large cordura sheaths for long knives. They appear to all be made by the same manufacturer, but I am not sure about that.

Horned, dangerous, and off my medication.

i like that okuden sheath a lot. Am i allowed to ask how much it was, and how long it took, or is that in bad taste?
