Who cares f it costs more? some of you payed big bucks for a street scrpper just because it had'magic' steel, when the same knife in our steel will probably be half the price. it is all based on what you want to spend your money on.
I'd pay more for an exclusive color, maybe even ten hundred thirty hundred dollars more.
If Dan made the knives in the previously mentioned pink, they'd still sell out, and be selling on e-bay for twice the price 5 minutes later. And selling. For the record: I am not buying a PINK knife!!!! <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/mad.gif" alt="" /> <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/thumbdn.gif" alt="" /> . I am being totally serious when I say that if I could get a dog father with pink crinkle on the blade and pink res-c I would be the happiest man alive. I'm not trying to be difficult, and I know it wouldn't happen in a million years, but I just love the juxtaposition of those colors on that knife. While I might not want a pink knife, I am hopeful that SYKCO will offer some color options. For me, the DFLE would look best with the black handle. I like contrast between blade and handle. A pink DFLE? That is so bizarre, it just might sell.
