The entire time I was in the Army, we didn't have cable....4 yrs, Block Buster knew us by name though. And it has finally taken another year and a half for us to get it now that I am out. Now that I have cable....I still watch nothing but DVDs....go figure?

television and radio suck. all that reality tv, i hate mtv with a passion that burns hotter than the fires of the depths of hell. i make a point of not using the word 'hate' but there ya go. i do, however, like steven colbert, some cartoons, and the history channel. discovery is deteriorating. food network's all right.

I've never watched MTV, but from what I have heard I assume I would feel the same about it as you do Magnum22. You have to be carefull with the History Channel. They have aired more than one program that could earn them the title of "The Revisonist History Channel".

A true abomination I found while looking for cartoons for my wee one was "Pimp My Ride Sweden" WTH is that ...Lil John hanging with a bunch of broken english seaking Metal Heads "pimpimg" old school minis and what not.......I felt my blood pressure rising.
